Tell one. Tell everyone.
There really is nothing you can tell only one family member because once one person knows, they all know. Hence, “Tell one. Tell everyone.”
It’s the funniest thing. You try and keep it on the down low, but who are you kidding? Once you tell Person A, you’re going to have to tell Person B and eventually Person C. It’s a never ending chain reaction.
But I wouldn’t have it any other way. That’s how you know they really care about you. When they want to know what’s going on in your life and are genuinely happy for you, that’s the best feeling in the world.
I am truly blessed to have the family I have.
